Die term wat verwys na melk of melkprodukte en heel, vloeibare, gevriesde en gepoeierde eiers wat aan 'n proses van gepasteurisering blootgestel is waarin elke deeltjie van die item verhit word teen 'n gespesifiseerde temperatuur en dan aaneenlopend teen hierdie of hoër temperatuur gehou word vir minstens die ooreenstemmende gespesifiseerde tydperk in toerusting wat behoorlik ontwerp en hanteer word.
